Romex Cable Type NM-B NMC-B Nonmetallic-Sheathed Cord

Applications
Romex Cables Type NM-B NMC-B containing 2-4 thermoplastic-insulated circuit conductors with a grounds ing conductor, These cables are intended for use by Article 334 and other applicable parts of the National Electrical Code. Type NMC-B cable is for use in drymoist,damp, and corrosive locations, and Type NM cable is for use in normally dry locations. Both types carry the suffix letter -B to designate the use of conductor with 90. insulation.

Construction
Romex Cable is manufactured as 2,3, or 4-conductor cable , with a bare grounds wireConductors are Copper or aluminum or copper clad aluminum. Conductor insulation is 90.-rated polyvinyl chloride(PVC), nylon jacket.The Cable jacket is color-coded for quick size identification; White--14AWG.Yellow---12AWG;Orange----10AWG; and Black-..--8AWGAWG,4AWGand 2AWG
